Is all I can say! My little Iris Madelynn...Wow!!!! Is all I can say! My little Iris Madelynn was born April 20, 2011--she is also my 4th baby. :). We went the route of being surprised with the baby's sex at birth but had our names picked out. At our 20 week ultrasound we were told the baby had a EIF---ok maybe that's not the correct abbreviation, it was a calcium deposit on the baby's heart, also a marker of Down's. That night God gave me the verse Jeremiah 29:11--to trust He has a perfect plan for our baby. I wasn't worried. Thankfully, the spot on the baby's heart was gone by 36 weeks! And when she was born at 39 weeks, a healthy baby!!! :) she did choke on amniotic fluid and stopped breathing a few seconds--totally freaked us out!! She was in the NICU one day, but is doing fine. I am just so amazed at how similar our stories are and that both our girls are named Iris!!! :). Tomorrow we will be dedicating Iris at our church, and I was looking for more meaningfullness in her name, hence I came across your blog. Even my delivery was similar. My dr asked if I wanted to be induced, oh yes! Went in at 2 cm and spent the night at the hospital, with the contractions coming and stopping all night. By morning I was at 5, so my dr broke my water at 9am. No meds, no epidural (they scare me, never had one!). By 11:30 I told the nurse the baby is coming. She just checked me and I was a 7. So sh didn't believe me. I kept rolling from my left side to my right side to the left side...and here comes the head! My dr walked in just in time to catch her! :) so funny! Well God bless your fam! Hope adjusting to 4 kids is going smooth! I love it, but it can be challenging. ;) wouldn't change a thing though!the Macshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15267637486678032818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29118436.post-47503996954694567572011-06-23T13:25:17.983-04:002011-06-23T13:25:17.983-04:00Hi Charis & Judah's Mom, Nice blog you got...Hi Charis & Judah's Mom, Nice blog you got here! try visit my new post: Blog SEO Tutorial: How to Choose the Best Title For Post. I can remember just a few years back a certain young woman (now mother of 4) who sweetly cried tears because her husband was so far away in the US, while we were all together on tour. Love you all!
LaurieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29118436.post-73703813433455983302011-03-22T14:26:35.926-04:002011-03-22T14:26:35.926-04:00Love your family!!
